Position Description:

The Task Force is searching for a Digital Presence and Strategy Coordinator. This role is vital in crafting and enacting digital strategies that amplify our mission and connect with our audience. You will be pivotal in steering our digital narrative and fortifying our online footprint.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Envision and implement forward-thinking digital strategies to champion our organization’s pro-democracy initiatives.
  • Administer and refine our website, ensuring it remains continually updated and a navigable repository of information.
  • Generate and oversee compelling content across our social media landscapes (specifically Instagram and LinkedIn), fostering community engagement and interaction.
  • Partner with various internal factions to source content, contributing to a cohesive and comprehensive communications strategy.
  • Orchestrate and oversee digital marketing campaigns to broaden organizational reach and bolster brand recognition.
  • Keep abreast of digital marketing trends, advocating for pioneering approaches to digital advocacy.

Requirements:

  • Preferably pursuing a degree in communications, political science, or a related discipline.
  • Skill in graphic design is recommended (Canva is a requirement) and video editing software, enabling the creation of visually arresting and persuasive content.
  • Experience in the conception and execution of impactful digital strategies, with a preference for backgrounds in the political or advocacy arenas.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms (particularly Instagram and LinkedIn).
  • Exceptional communicative abilities, adept at distilling complex concepts into accessible messaging.
  • A creative visionary, capable of devising out-of-the-box digital initiatives.
  • An organized, detail-focused approach, coupled with adept project management capabilities.
  • Resilience under pressure, with a track record of meeting demanding deadlines.
  • Analytical prowess, with a penchant for data interpretation and strategic action.
  • An understanding of the current political landscape, with an emphasis on democratic issues and advocacy.

  • This position reports directly to the Communications Director of the Task Force.
  • The role is stationed in Washington, D.C., and is integral to our mission-centric operations.
