Position Description:

The Task Force is seeking a highly organized and professional Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive support to our Chief of Staff. This critical role demands an individual who exhibits meticulous attention to detail, masterful multitasking abilities, and the capacity to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Chief of Staff’s calendar, orchestrating meetings, appointments, and logistics.
  • Craft and refine correspondence, and prepare materials for presentations, reports, and memos for Task Force leadership (including Board Members, Division Directors, and Initiative Advisors).
  • Accurately record and distribute minutes from meetings, effectively communicating key points to relevant stakeholders.
  • Establish and uphold a systematic approach to the organization and retrieval of documents.
  • Prioritize incoming communications, discerning urgency and ensuring timely responses.
  • Undertake research and compile data to support the Chief of Staff’s strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Preferably pursuing a degree in political science, business administration, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in an administrative and support capacity.
  • Exceptional organizational talents and a keen eye for detail.
  • Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and other essential office software (or willingness to independently learn).
  • A guardian of confidentiality, skilled in the discreet management of sensitive information.
  • Adept at managing time and multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Flexible in approach, with the ability to solve problems rapidly and effectively.
  • Passion for politics and democracy is desirable, though not mandatory.

Additional Information:

  • The role reports directly to the Chief of Staff of The Task Force.
  • This position is based in Washington, D.C., with remote accommodations available.
