Position Description:
The Task Force is in search of a Junior Ambassador and Deputy Director for our Alliance System Division. This role is centered on the cultivation and management of strategic alliances with other pro-democracy nonprofits. The Deputy Director will be instrumental in executing alliance initiatives that align with our core mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scout and secure potential alliances, laying the groundwork for strategic partnerships.
- Sync alliance objectives with The Task Force’s overarching goals through collaboration with internal teams.
- Steer the strategic blueprint and roll-out of alliance programs and ventures.
- Orchestrate alliance-centric gatherings, symposiums, and events.
- Act as the principal liaison for all communications tied to alliance operations.
- Evaluate the success of alliance collaborations, delivering detailed analyses and action plans to the executive team.
Requirements:
- Preferably pursuing a degree in political science, international relations, or a related arena.
- A solid background in coalition or alliance management, preferably within the political or advocacy sphere.
- A robust grasp of the political scene and industry dynamics.
- Exceptional leadership and communication prowess, with a proven capacity to engage and sway diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic and analytical thinking, paired with adept problem-solving skills.
- Superior organizational and project management competencies.
- A self-starter attitude, equipped to excel both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic setting.

- This position reports to the Senior Ambassador and Director of the Alliance System.
- This position is based in Washington, D.C., with remote accommodations available.
